How Kwadjo Tillman got involved with National Park Service
I was told about the program by a program manager that I've known most of my life.
My work at the Biscayne National Park will be highlighted by my work on the English China Site. With the help of graduate students and Professor, and Dr. Stephen C. Lubkemann we were able to do extensive work on this site. We were able to narrow the date of the site within about 19 years, between 1765 and 1794, as well as finding evidence that the ship caught fire before sinking, helping us understand the site.
Kwadjo Tillman's accomplishments
I was able to get both my Dive Master and Nitrox Diver certifications this summer, which will help me support myself during college and have helped me sharpen my scientific diving skills.
Kwadjo Tillman's next steps
I will be majoring in Marine Biology with a possible minor in Sports Industry Scuba Diving or Ecology. I will be actively perusing the field of Anthropology in the near future as well, it's an area of interest for me, and I would love to have more experience in the field of Archeology.
