The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) is partnering with the FLW Outdoors Foundation, a non-profit organization, designed to connect America’s youth to their natural resources, promote education, conservation, and an active lifestyle. USFWS Assistant Director of Fisheries & Habitat Conservation Bryan Arroyo signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, with FLW Outdoors Foundation representatives.

FLW Outdoors President of Operations Kathy Fennel said, “We are proud to be partnering with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. To join forces with this agency in educating future generations of fishing enthusiasts is a testament to FLW Outdoors’ legacy as a leader in both professional and recreational fishing”

FLW are the initials of Forrest L. Wood, the legendary founder of Ranger Boats, who is a self-made pioneer of modern bass fishing.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife mission is to work with others to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.
